Starter- no pick power, but solenoid stuck?

Odd combination of starter symptoms. No start, no click. No power at solenoid wire.

Jump power to solenoid with aux starter switch. No click but starter runs. Actuating fork must be stuck. Where, with what, and how hard to hit the solenoid to jar the fork loose. I'm suspecting a short piece of 2x4 and BFH or will a mid size hammer and a metal aux drift work better?

It'll probably take a nice little tap, if it's stuck. You COULD pull the starter and actually fix the problem, though. :)
