hey guys, I have a strange water leak. I first noticed it when I was vaccuuming and I felt it was a little wet under the backseat passenger side carpet. I lifted it up and the padding was soaked.
As soon as I had the time, I took out my seat and pulled up my carpet to find it completely soaked in the back and under the front carpet too. just on the passenger side.
There was also water underneath the back seat on the passenger side.
Water is ALSO leaking into my trunk, over my battery tray. I thought that was just the weather stripping, but do you think it is related?
I looked at the weather stripping in the pop out window and there was a little water seaping underneath the weather stripping, and there is also a big gap at the top corner of my door weather stripping.
Do you think that would be enough to make that much water come in?
I was thinking it was either that or a sunroof drain. I have no idea how long this has been happening.
I just felt it after drying it out on monday night, and it felt like it was a little damp again. but it hasn't rained. it's been cold and dewey (sp?) though. Maybe it was just cold and left over damp though...
anyway, any suggestions? I will be testing it out with water and trying to find the leak as soon as i can.
