    front brakes, need help ASAP!

ok, so if youve done brakes, you know about the little bitch bolt holding the rotor on. Unfortunately, ive basically stripped mine out, as well as marred it to hell wiht an easy out. What do i do now?

    You drill it out.

Swing wild, brake later, don't apologize.

Find a drill bit just barely smaller the the diameter of the bolt, it helps to find one about the diameter of the the center of the bolt and not the threads. This way you can drill it out and then can take a flat head screw driver pound it into the hole and should be able to unthread what was left of the bolt and not damage the threads in the hub any. I did it on my 85 318i and it worked perfectly.

I didnt even bother with conventional methods (proper tools). I just used a reverse drill bit. I didnt put them back in when I was finished.

You dont need the little bitch.. it's just there to help initial mounting of the tires.

i ended up drilling, then tapping it to get the excess shrapnel out of the threads, whew, and when i put the new one in, i was sure to put antiseize on it.
