Tire fitment question

I am looking at getting some new tires for my car. I have 215/40/17 yokohama parada spec 2s on the car now and am looking at trying a different tire. I am thinking something along the lines of a 215/45/17, 215/40/17 or a 225/35/17.
Now onto the tires I am looking at. I am looking at either getting the yoko es100s, or the yoko avs sport. I have also found the falken GR Beta FK-451s in 225/35/17 from discount tire direct for 92 dollars a piece. Does anyone have any opinions on the tires I mentioned?
Also, I have 20mm offset wheels on a car with the later style fenders. Will I be able to fit the 225/35s?

You know from how close your current tires are that 225's aren't gonna fit without fender mods.

Fender mods will come soon Bill. I am just trying to figure out how bad they will rub in the mean time.
