    interchangeable parts?? HELP!!

    im gonna be headin to some local pull-a-parts in the next few days looking for parts i can use on my 87 325es.. are there any other 30 models i can get stuff from or do i gotta stick with same car?

    It depends what parts you are looking for and how creative you are.

      yeah what are you looking for? e30 body panels and suspension bolt to all others e30's (some panel dont fit on m3). all interior is univeral, obviously if you need a motor part that is ETA only you go with an ETA but i would say 80% is universal

        thanks.. the main parts im lookin for are plastic bumpers to convert my diving boards... or maybe another pair of DB's to see what the car would look like with DB's pushed in..

          Plastic bumpers are only on the 89 and up, you'll need the fron valence off those cars as well. There are several threads detailing the bumper swap.

              Go to parts catalog and you can look at an exploded view of damn near every system on the vehicle after you put in your specific model/year/market/trans, and at the bottom of each diagram, there will be a list of the parts in that view. You can click the part to find every other car it was used on. Not exactly what you're looking for, but it's a good start, and it's indispensable if you're a frequent junkyard-goer.
