    Door lock stuck

    It feels like i'm putting in the wrong key; it won't turn at all.

    Please help.

      Won't that jsut get the lock all gummed up once the dust+WD-40 mix together?

        lock cylinder is probably worn out. i think you can buy oem lock kits for around $40 that will fix the problem.

          Yeah it will. Use powdered graphite lubricant.

              I don't know about $40 for a new door lock. I just bought one from the dealer - it costs $80 to be keyed to your vin # (so you won't have 2 sets of keys)

                The difference in price is for the shop to re-key it. You can do the re-key yourself:


                CAD$51 for the kit at a Vancouver dealership.
