Door Lock and Central locking BS

Door lock broke AGAIN! The lever arm likes to break and fall off the lock cylinder. This is the third one for me.

Now, since it broke and the central locking is still active how do i get the doors unlocked? Key here is i can get into the car but i DO NOT have the trunk lock.

I think im going to run no solenoids on the doors and take a spare actuator and place it in the dash so i can lock and unlock the trunk, but first ive got to get the damn door open.

Doesn't the passenger door unlock without a actuator? Go fishing with a coat hanger?

Yes, i can get into the car by messing with the pass side BUT the cental locking unit on the drivers side will not work.

Replace the worn/broken parts and it should work fine.
The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.

the problem is OPENING THE DOOR THAT IS LOCKED BECAUSE THE CAR THINKS ITS AT THE DEAD BOLT SETTING. Dead bolt = when the key is horizontal.

I know how to fix it, Ive done it twice already, hell 4 times including my car. I know what to do, but i DONT know what to do to get the damn door open when the central locking is holding the door locked.

well if you un-hook the battery thne there is no power to anything, so it should release, so then just unlock it

Jeeeez, you guys dont read. Battery is in the trunk, i dont have the trunk key.

Anywho, i got the car up to my parents, climbed out the window. Cleared out the garage, climbed back in, pulled it in, back out the same way i went in. Grabbed a handful of tools ready to work. Walked over to the car and pulled up on the door pull unlocking the car.

Junkass BMW's. Still had to replace the lock parts, but its 'as good as new'

                Thanks for..... help?
