    suspension

I want somthing for autox but not so stiff my teeth fall out on the roads (a little brain trauma is all right just not painfully stiff ) I don't want it lower than 1.7 front 1.5 rear and would prefer to stay under a grand. Any recomendations?

Sorry if i should have used search but all I ever see talked about suspension is bilstien/eibach and h&r cupkit.

Maybe try Ireland Engineering stage 3 race springs. Here is what the discription says, and they give a great looking drop on e30's.

New Product - These are custom made for us by Eibach one of the top spring manufacturers in the world. Our springs are perfect for "stock" and "prepared" club racers, autocrosers and agressive street cars. They are suprisingly streetable for dual purpose and driver school cars. Ride height is streetable with some care from the driver. Ride height is reduced 2" front and 1.5" rear from stock. Our track testing proved these springs work well on both 325's and M3's. We think this is the absolute best set up for an E30.

We designed these springs because we found no other springs on the market we liked. Some "race" springs are just street springs made a little stiffer and some are just way too stiff. We designed our springs to be not too stiff for bumpy tracks yet stiff enough to reduce body roll. We suggest pairing these with our sway bars to further control body roll.

BMP's H&R and Bilstein combo lowers about 1.3" front and rear and gives you a firm but comfortable ride. It retails for something like $650 or so. Also Bilsteins supposedly last forever.
