1991 318 ic . what is the best way to take care of the top . it has mold on the inside on the top .

how do i stop it from coming back is there something that you can spray on the inside or on the out side .

the only thing that really kills mold is bleach. Dry it out if you don't want it to return.

EDIT - I'm not suggesting you bleach your top.

thank you . i was just wanting to see if there was some type of stuff for the top to make it better .

theres some kind of spray made by scotch or whatever thats an upholstery protector or somethin, you spray it on when the tops completely dry and it'll seal up the fabric from letting water go through or soak in. beads up the water, and doesnt affect the color or fabric. ive used it for years.
