    Weird squealing noise

Alright so i get this weird squealing sound every once in a while. Usually happens after sitting at a red light for a little while or with A/C on. Squealing stops after 3-4 seconds. Any ideas? I figured it was some belt, maybe belt tensioner? Please help.

Try turning your AC off when it happens. Could be a belt or a failing compressor. Also hit your pulleys with some lube.

Well, if the AC is off when the noise happens it's not the compressor. It's probably wise at this point to change the accessory belt and lube the pulleys.

You can splash water on the belts when the noise is occurring. It will hydroplane them a bit...If the noise stops...It's a belt.

              But Jesus!...Don't lube the pulleys!
Clean the pulley "V" with some 320 grit sandpaper... Install new belts.
