    Blower motor doesn't work

I searched for this but never found an answer to my specific problem.

About a month ago the blower on my car started acting up. At first, I would start up the car and have no fan whatsoever, no matter what the setting. After a few minutes, I would try to turn the fan on and VOILA, it worked.

Between now and then it has cut out and has since stopped working entirely. I've checked fuses, but not relays or anything of the sort. Anyone?

"See, we're adding a little something to this month's sales contest. As you all know, first prize is a Cadillac Eldorado. Anyone wanna see second prize? Second prize is a set of steak knives. Third prize is you're fired."

Where do I find those? Are they on the fan itself?

It's behind a panel on the top firewall/engine side. I think once you pull it off you'll see another panel which hides the fan motor. In there you'll see the resistor. Pull it out and replace. You can clean but it may act up later on. I had the same problem and after having to clean 3 times decided to buy new one. No problems since!!
