    Brake Checklight.

I took off the 3rd brake light a while ago and just put it back on
because I hate seeing that check light...
But, it didn't turn the light off..
I checked the connections, and the bulbs are secure; What
    could be going on :?:

It worked fine before.. :x

      Thanks Ryan.

The brake light is on normally when I start the car until I apply the brakes, then it shuts off (normal)

Now, It does that for about 2 seconds, then turns back on, so I assume the switch works.

      Pretty weird

I thought my switch was bad for the longest time, because i had all new silver base bulbs. Then a few weeks ago, I did a retrofit to put in the newer style rear shelf and brakelight (but used the same bulb), and it fixed my problem. Something I guess in the brakelight assembly was the problem.
