    steering wheel issue

so i put a new wheel on, and now i can't get it to come off. I can't see anything it could possibly be stuck on, but i pulled decently hard ( i should not have to do this) and it didn't come off. ideas? it deosn't need to be off, i just want to know that it will come off.

its a momo wheel with proper adapter.

Put the key in and turn it to the first position. You're pulling against the steering wheel lock.

Just try yanking like a mofo on it... the shaft is tapered IIRC, you just have to pull HARD. I thought mine would never come off. Worst case scenario, wrap a towel around the wheel and use a puller to get it off.

didn't know it was tappered i guess i just have to yank like hell, well as long as i know it will come off i am not real worried about taking it off, i just though something was broken in there. although i am not 100 percent sure its on straight, its close though. maybe i'll just fix it tomorrow. its amazing how much of a different a smaller wheel makes though.

Yeah, I'm definitely looking into a smaller diameter wheel. I'd love to get a smaller version of an Mtech1 wrapped in suede... but that'd only happen in my dreams. I want a Momo bad...

i have a black leather momo basically just like an mtech II but a momo...its looks to be a tad bit smaller than the ends of my turn signal stalks. i can still read all the instruments which is sweet, it might be because i am short but regarless i can see everything.

i am still mad i can't get the son of a bitch off, i don't want to fuck up the wheel yanking on it and shit, although its porbably beefy as hell

If you have a check panel, pull the SRS bulb. Do you have a 325 or 318?

Just pull the SRS bulb out of the check panel.

Get the MtechII wheel, it's smaller and you can still see your guages, any smaller and you won't be able to see them clearly.
