    Driver's Side Window

So my window stopped rolling down and I'm pretty sure it's a blown motor so if anyone could tell me how to replace it that'd be great. I took the door panel off and got confused with what I figure was the locking mechanism and not the window motor.

    Thanks!

From what I remember, the window "motor" is two parts. There is an actual motor and there is some gearing, mostly a worm gear and some other tiny ones that attach it to the guide rail. The motor is on the bottom, it is attached to the gearing by two torx screws. You can replace just the motor. Find a good working one, doesnt matter from what side of car or anything and take the old one off and put the new one on.

What makes you think its a blown motor? No noise. Check to see if the connection is getting voltage when you hit the switch. The switches wear down over age, very common problem. The switch should read about 12v, and reverse polarity depending on up or down of the switch.

Well when I push the button to roll the window down or up something in the door clicks once and nothing happens. I don't know what this means.
