A/C issues!!!

Hey guys,to make a long story short i had this guy install a m20 into my 318is.Well my a/c was working before the install,now he says the a/c isn't ganna work.He says the compressor is bad,i may need a new dryer,and i have some burned wires.My question is if the wire issue is true haow can i fix this?Any help in the right direction would be great.

Your question is far too vague.
How long did this install take? A compressor will not go bad from just sitting for a few weeks.
What wires are 'burned'?
You should replace the drier any time the system is open for an extended period.
