High beams not working

Well I just found out that my highbeams aren't working when it is in the highbeam position, but it does work when I pull the lever towards myself (to flash the highbeams)... so pretty much, it just doesnt stay on.

Can anyone lead me to a possible solution?

Maybe see if you can borrow a switch. They both operate off the same relay system so I would try a used switch first (new ones are $$$$).

I havent but I would have to suspect the stalk is dying. Its 20 years old and has been used a million times, it happens. On mine the part that controls the OBC was grounding out so the OBC would randomly cycle so i got one from Brian and it fixed it.
