Help! Driver's side window won't go down

Yesterday I put my driver side window down and it hasnt come up since. Passenger side works fine. All fuses are good. Swapped out switches, that didn't work. Drivers side works fine in passenger side, but same symptons persist. Can hear motor whirring. Any other ideas?

Sounds like a failure of the window regulator.
