Odometer gear question.

This is a long shot, but does anyone know the height, width, and pin size of the 12 toothed drive gear in the odometers. My cluster stopped counting miles, and this was the culprit, and I refuse to pay 25 dollars for a new one from odometergears.com This would help me find the right one (or similar) at a local hobby shop.

Take yours out and see if you can match it up. Might be $30 worth of trouble for nothing though.

I just checked ebay. He doesn't seem to have any auctions right now though.

I know of one or two other guys who've bought gears from him. Maybe they will chime in as well.

hey i an new to this site and i have the same problem.and add to the situation i am not really sure how fast i am going since mt speed meter shop the same as his problem but my is just worn on ? should i check with this guy too?

check the pulse generator on your differential, the connections and whatever.

well i check the out and i was told by uncle that hey put a new senor but the speedometer still didn't work do you thinks it's my gears that i should replace

DevonJordan - Do you know if Jose sells a complete set of gears for Motometer, or just individual gears. I haven't pulled my cluster yet, but would want to go ahead and change all four(?) gears while I'm in there.

I sent him an email back, he said that he had gears, but wanted to know which I needed. I asked for all four, so we shall see.

I feel the same as you, Im in there, why not replace them all?
