    A/C on Euro Cabby

My vert has no A/C. :(

It will be hell as soon as spring kicks in as SoFla sees summer for 3 seasons straight.

I am trying to see if I can part out a US car and change everything necessary to have some cold air on my vert.

Now, I know everything bolts on and that I can just swap the condenser, compressor, lines, etc

But what about any wiring? Would I have to change the heater?

    Thanks,
    Erick

Man, you must REALLY REALLY want A/C. Underhood stuff isn't too bad, but your gonna work for the interior side of things. You will need to change the entire heater box, and FWIW i would look into all new rubber lines that are lined so that they are better compatible with 134a.

If I remember right, wiring shouldn't be too bad, much of the harness, relays and such are attached to the heater box itself, and the harness is plug and play in many areas. To double check, take a look at the harness coming out of Motronic, there should be a few loose connectors taped to the harness. One should be Black/Gray. If thats there, odds are a few of the other important ones are too.

My suggestion? Sunscreen, a hat, and avoid congestion. Once your moving its fine... When you stop, the heat catches back up.
