starting problem, car wont crank, but starter is good

i have an m30 swap and car ran good until two weeks ago and all of a sudden i go to start it and it doesn't crank i took the starter out and ordered one but i wanted to check it just to be safe and it works perfectly so i installed it back on the car thinking that it could have been a loose connection but all i get is a little tick thanks all, any one know what i could be i need to get this fixed. thanks

Can you push start it? My friend had a problem like this yesterday and it ended up being a loose wire behind the dash.

everything is all good turns out i had a bad ground to the block
