    Schroth Harnesses - Installation Questions

I've installed these harnesses with stock seats, but how do you install them with a racing seat, where you have to slide the belt through holes in the sides and back. Can't figure out how to get the belt apart. Can the belt be removed from the buckles?

I was baffled by the same thing. Then someone on this board told me and I felt like a big dumbass. You'll be removing your stock seats, so you just slide the end that attaches at the floor through the slot in the new seat.

What about the shoulder harnesses - these are tied together? I do feel a bit stupid now for not being able to figure out the lap belt....

Yeah, the same thing. From the quick disconnect buckle in the back seat, you would slide everything forward of that through the shoulder strap hole, then through the lap belt hole. Just picture the harness uninstalled. I had a hard time envisioning it because it was already mounted.

        Get it? :?

Yeah, I figured it out when I started to ask the same question on another board.
