window not going all the way up or down

has anyone experienced this problem before? this morning when I tried to put the window all the way up it stopped about two inches short, then would not go down. Motor still sounds as if it is trying to push the window up. thinking the window regulator might be going bad :?

any other suggestions?

It's the regulator or the teeth spinning on the track cogs. Both are easy fixes. Take panel off to expose the inside and watch what is happening then fix.
