    Oil problem on check panel

I had my oil changed about a month ago and probably havent put 1000 miles on it yet. And my OIL light keeps coming on, I checked the oil levels and theyre good...

I heard there is a way to reset the oil sensor.
    Looking for an e30.....

Is ti the oil pressure light(red light on dash) or the countdown light things, so it flashes red in the middle, where the green lights are?

I have the same thing in my car intermittently. From wut I have researched its the "Oil Pressure Sensor" located right under the oil filter canister. I bought one from BMA for $5 and I'm going to try to oil change my car today and replace the sensor. Hopefully thats the issue. I'll let you know wut happens. Too bad its raining. Might not get a chance to do it today.

The check panel warning light is for the oil level. the warning light in the dash is for oil pressure. sounds like your oil level sensor is bad. that's located in the top part of the oil pan.. driver side.
