    Dreaded double lock

So I did a search, and I have a dead battery and a drivers side tumbler that has been getting stiff to turn.

I read few threads and I got into the drivers door. Can't get into the truck or passenger side at all. My jumpers are in the trunk, so applying power from under hood is out right now.

http://www.r3vlimited.com/board/show...19&postcount=9 I read this one and would love too do it but dead battery is now the issue.

So after removing the drivers side panel to gain access to the mechanicals well actuating the locking drive hoping I could reach across the car and unlock the passenger side, nope not possible.

Frustrated as I am unsure if it's electrical or mechanical.

I searched and I plan on trying to review the threads now again.

How dead is the battery? Your car is a stick right? You could just do a roll start to get the car going and then you could get your car opened up.

Is the ski pass through punched out? If so, if you get 36"+ of extensions and a 10mm socket on it, undo the two bolts holding the trunk lock in from inside the car, then pull the lock right out. I am almost certain that the tail panel cosmetic carpet does not block these two bolts.

It's not punched out and the battery is toast, been borderline for quite some time. Nope eS.

It was electrical, Battery was keeping it locked, applied power across the under hood jumpers and started car. Door's unlocked with power applied.

            Solved

I was just about to suggest you do that.

                Glad it worked.

Had to purchase another set of cables but at 7 bucks for some cheap 10 gauge ones who cares. They are now spares.
