windshield wiper problem

so im driving in the rain the yesterday, and my windshield wipers decide that they only wnat to work when they feel like it. they would go for about 5 swipes, then stop for a while, then go once, then stop..and so on....

im guessing theres some kind of a loose connection somewhere, but am not really sure where this connection would be.

can someone help me out?


maybe its time i purchase a bentley manual....

Mine does the exact same thing. I have yet to find out what the problem is. I'm thinking it's a loose ground wire or something. Now my wipers have just quite working all together.

same thing happend to me last year.

all i did was just replace the wiper stalk with a used one and it worked great after that.

same thing happened to one of my friends..... check the wiring from the stalk up... just look at everything before you buy anything..... throwing parts at it might not fix it and would just waste your money.

(my friends replaced the stalk and it still did this)

I've tried a working wiper relay in mine and didn't fix anything. What else could it be? motor or switch?
