    getting door chime to work

Ok I spent about twenty minutes looking for the connector for the door chime  Do you need the full OBC retrofit for this to work? I did not use the wiring harness with the temp sensor connector or the code feature.

You want yours to work? I pulled that stupid little chiming box out like right after I got the car.

It completes the circuit for an alarm though. I'm thinking about putting tape all over mine to make it quieter.

yeah I want it to work. Just one of the little things to upgrade the car. Most people with no knowledge of BMWs think my car is an 88 or newer model. Nice compliment for a 21 year old car. I :)

Heh, i pulled mine and my CLS decided not to work. It worked when i had no cluster in, but god forbid the door chime is removed. CLS did not like that one bit.
