Every once in a while my central locking will act up. When I turn the key to lock or unlock, the module will buzz for a second, but the locks dont lock/unlock. Most of the time it works fine, but this happens for a couple days every month or so.
I've swapped out the central lock module for a known good one, and the problem didnt go away. I only use the central locking from the trunk as both doors won't activate the central locking. When this happens, I can still unlock the driver's door manually then get in and unlock the others doors from the lock knobs, and then lock the doors again from inside when I leave the car, but thats kind of crappy.
Has anyone else had this happen? Any ideas what to look for? Poor connection at the trunk actuator? Wires shorting out?
