Any air con experts? What type of fitting?

I'm hoping there might be some air con experts here who could tell me if this is a common type of ac fitting (i.e. not just BMW), what it might be called, and if they're available aftermarket. It's E36 325i, into compressor:

thats a pretty common connector. just about all automotive ac compressors use it. What are you needing the information for?

ah, i think i get it... you want to see if maybe you can use a non-bmw part on a bmw? your best bet would be to find an a/c shop or general automotive shop that carries Air Conditioning fittings/supplies and see if you can find something similar. I've built a few custom air conditioning set ups and usually it all depends on what kind of compressor you have. maybe if you can get your compressor information and call saying "Hey, I have a XXXXXX type compressor and I need a high/low fitting" and see what they say.

    Hope that helps

I need make some hoses to adapt the E36 compressor on my M52 to the E30 chassis. The local breaker wants too much money for a set of used complete lines (which would just be getting hacked up anyway), but I'm having trouble finding aftermarket fittings.
