    Calling all Sport seat experts - what is this part?

    I just bought a sport seat on ebay, and when it arrived it had been severely beaten by UPS The box was littered with shattered plastic parts and pieces. I figured out what all was what, except for two identical metal clips. Does anyone know where these clips (or whatever they are) are supposed to go? It looks like they are some kind of fastener that flexes and holds something under spring pressure.

      Maybe on the back rest cover?

          They're the slider clips that hold the back panel of the seat on at the top.

              IIRC there are two Phillips screws at the bottom of the back cover. Do I remove those screws, pull off the side tilt levers (?) and remove the panel to re-install the clips? Any other details I should know about?

                      Nope, that's pretty much it. You shoud be able to see where they go once you get the rears off.

                              does are clips that are on the top or on the side. they are what hold the cover
