    does the valve cover has a gasket ?

    Yep. They're only like $9. If you're going to be pulling your cover, get a new gasket.

        Should adjust the valves while you are in there.

            In addition to the gasket there are four rubber bungs (two at each end of the head) that should be replaced also.
            The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.
