so im looking at an idle control valve to buy, but its supposed to be for the "early" etas. the part # is 13-41-1-286-012 for the ICV being sold. My eta is 04/87. so can i buy this idle control valve and have it work or do i have to get the one that mine needs?

I rather think you need the correct one for the car.

check realoem and see if its the one, or can it be cross referenced and fit
