    New battery keeps dying!

I got a new battery after my old one kept dying now this one get drained too. I already got my alternator checked and that wasn't the problem. I really don't know what it could be. It's my first car, so if someone could give me some ideas that would be great.

Check the engine to body earth lead is intact and secured.
On UK cars its located just below the airbox, probably the same for US cars.

When an alternator goes bad, it will be hot when the key is off.

Let your car sit fro a few hours, then pop the hood and check to see if it is hot.

After verifying that the primary connections at the battery are clean and tight, the next check is to see what the system voltage is on a fully charged battery (use a battery charger overnight) at idle and 2500rpm. At idle you should see 13.6 or more, rising to about 14v at 2500rpm. If the voltages are below that the alternator (or something else in the charging circuit) is bad.

If the alternator & charging is okay, the next test is to see what current is being drawn form the battery when the engine in off. That should be no more than 30-60ma. Much more than that is a problem that needs to be fixed. Improperly installed aftermarket audio and alarms are frequent causes.
The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.

a bad SI board could be a source of a drain as well

Sister's 325e had bad batteries in the SI board when the car was turned off 1 red LED in the SI was light causing a drain. Soldered in 2 new batteries good to go!
