WOT issue (duplicate of m20 forum post)

alright today i changed my chip back to stock, i have a mark d chip but it has been giving me some trouble (sounds like its pinging past 1/4 throttle, but adding more fuel and cutting back on ignition timing using smt6 manipulation has had little effect, im also considering that its a small exhaust leak)

anyway so i put the stock chip back in and now if i push it to WOT the engine just cuts out completely, it feels like all ignition is just being cut, i looked at my wideband display(which has readings:rich 10-20 lean air) while hitting WOT and it read LEAN then flashed to AIR

anyone have any ideas as to what the deal is? did my stock chip forget its WOT map?

The first things that occur to me are a fuel delivery issue (clogged filter, failing pump, rust/sediment in the tank), corroded C191 connector, bad TPS, or bad timing reference sensor.
The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.

      My guess:

He had the same exact problem, engine cutting out at WOT.

i will check the afm board but last time i looked at it (couple weeks ago at most) it was good, i had a thought i have the 6 pin afm ghetto rigged in there and i may have switched the wire for WOT and idle cause my idle hasnt been very good (well its actually been better than normal)
