how do you install and remove side mirror glass?

i can get the shell off but i cant figure out how to seperate the glass anyone know? i search but got jack

There's a small tab below the center of the glass, you insert a small screwdriver and click the tab to the left IIRC, and it releases the glass.

Any yes, both sides are the same..so if you want to lose the writing on the right one, just use a right one, upside down...fits perfect.

haha thanks guys i had been sitting there scratching my head for quite some time on this one and this is a big help.....cool on the losin the writing idea i kinda wish i had two lefties now...anywho i remember seeing a alpina with only one side mirror....anyone know anything about a delete panel on that or was that custom
