Neither of my front two struts have this "Dust Protection Collar", item #7 below, installed. Usually I would say that if the engineer who designed it thought it should be there, then I want it there.
Pelican Parts does not show this part for E30's but does for E24's. RealOEM shows it for the E30 though.
Can anybody tell me if they have this part installed on their front struts?
I don't want to wait until next week sometime before I can reassemble the struts because I am waiting for this part to arrive.
