My passenger sport seat has an issue that i can't seem to put my finger on. Basically when i brake hard, the seat tilts forward when someone is in it. At first i figured the rear bolts securing it may have been loose, but i checked them and they are all good. I took the seat out but i couldn't figure out what was wrong because i can't replicate the situation correctly, i.e. no weight in it, no tilting. Anybody ever had a similar problem?

well my sports seats used to rock back and forth easily, so i took em out and reinforced them where the seat meets the rail with a handy mig welder. Stopped them from moving around completely. you just have to be careful to not weld any moving parts, I dont need to tell you what happens then.harry/harout

My driver seat does this and it squeeks non stop. I hate it.1992 325i Convertible
