On Tranny - New news

How in the world do you reach the top two torq bolts? I see no possible way. Well got the tranny off! woohoo :D

Unbolt the engine mounts, go rent an engine lift, and lift the engine out a little bit.

Remove the two nuts holding the rear tranny crossmember up. Then jack up the engine under the oil pan a little. That should tilt it enough to get a couple feet of extensions (and maybe a u-joint) on it.

I use 3 u joints.with 3 extensions 1-2in, 1-6in, 1-10in.Yes its a pain but that is the only way to get to them.without jacking anything not that jacking helps much.

Okay they are off, still its not coming off, even have the torgue whatever disconnected! So whats up? We got the cover off of the bellhousing and such and can put our hands in but the tranny won't come off, any suggestions?
