Other than a higher water temp how else can you tell if you need to replace the Thermostat?? I flushed Rad and temp goes to 3/4 still???

Its basically process of elimination. Fan clutch, thermostat, radiator. You'll have to replace each on and see what happens.

I've done the newspaper test on the fan and it doesn't stop abrubtly(?) but slows down gradually if the rolled paper is left in the fans path. Is it still good ??Comment
