Speedometer PCB/Cluster Pins Missing?

On the cluster PCB socket for the Speedo Im seeing 4 pins on the lower portion of the socket and an open hole for a pin -I assume that one broke off somehow and this is the reason the speedo is OOC. The pins are arranged as such || | | ...is this right?

That's normal, as I recall.

A common cause of a dead speedometer and loss of any speed/mileage related functions in the OBC is failure of the speed sensor (mounted in the differential).

it was intermittently working prior and was curable with some smacks to the dash, so I'm thinking its internal.
