HELP!!! Seat Shocks, how to install?

    Hey guys,
I took out seat shocks from my old seats and i would like to install them into the newer seats, but then when i tried to install, i can't get the shocks to compress. Does anyone have any hints how to install these shocks back into the seats, they seem impossible to do.

When you install them just put the seat in a position where the shock would be fully extended so you dont need to compress them. HTH

Yeah, i know that, i tried it, it doens't work, the chair doesn't get into that position, it gets close, but not close enough still.

You have to be VERY strong and take some assistance.I use pliers and a friend to hold/bend the seat to get them in.If the shocks are in new/great shape you WILL struggle for about 2-3 min trying to line it up right. There is no easy way to explain how to do it.

I think I remember using C-clamps on mine, but that was like 5 years ago.

I used channel-locks. They were just big enough to fit.. worked great.
