Problem with steering rack retrofit on 90+ models...

Does anyone know why the Zionsville website says their steering rack retrofit is not applicable for airbag-equipped E30s? I want to put a '95 M3 rack in my car but I have the bag.

contact them and ask why... i think it might have to do with the clock spring, i dont think the steering rack changed from SRS cars to non equiped..
