ignition lock...

Anyone ever have problems removing the ignition lock? I have read how to do it, I have pulled apart everything so I know where I need to go, but I can't get the ignition lock out.

I have the half moon shape where the key goes, and I put a paper clip in there and try wiggling it out and nothing happens. Anybody know why or what is going on? Much help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Alright, so I got my ignition lock to turn freely, so I don't have that problem anymore. But I still would like to remove the ignition lock to see what's wrong with it.

Anybody have any ideas of why it's not coming out? Picture of a removed ignition lock perhaps and what button I am supposed to press in?

I need to know how this is done. I have a buyer for my lock sets and I can't get this thing out. Silly me sold my books before I was done needing it.
