    M30 AFM swap write-up?

Does anyone have a write-up on doing the M30 AFM swap?

What unit is the best (if there are different ones), what needs to be done, how to do it, etc...

    Thanks in advance.

          It's really simple......

          1) any M30 AFM
          2) unscrew the 4 screws holding on the connector
          3) pry off the black top (held by glue)
          4) unscrew the 4 screws holding in the board
          5) unplug the 2 wires
          6) do the same on your M20 AFM
          7) swap the boards
          8) put it back together.

Once you open it up you'll see how simple it really is.

Dave Adams site is what I used as a reference.

          Good luck!

Chris, tell no lies. There was nothing simple for me about swapping those circuit boards.....

About all the screws were stripped, well maybe not, but a lot. Had to drill them out. But wasn't that bad. Just be more careful than me and my friends were!!!!
