Check panel oil light comes on when braking...

Any ideas what to look for first? Oil light on the check panel comes on when braking, when the car is on or off.

Incidentally, I also need pad wear sensors... incase that's somehow related for some reason.

My first e30 did this to me. I think it was in the check panel itself. Cause i put another one in it and it stoped doing that.

that would make sense actually, because my check light is on in the console and now that i think of it, pressing "check" on the panel never does anything. i always just assumed I didn't know how to use it.

i rescued this car from a dealer where it sat without a roof for a year so this piece was rained/snowed on. probably shorted out.
