SRS light on check panel

    SRS light on check panel

    put a new steering wheel on and got rid of the airbag wheel, but the damn SRS light is blinking all the time now. i took the bulb out but it still blinks how the hell do i make this stop.

    i have the same problem, i was thinking, what if we put a non-srs active check panel into ours, maybe it wouldnt be a problem? let me know what you find out, good luck

      put electrical tape over light, makes all lights go away :roll:

        The SRS bulb is soldered in. Either desolder it and pull the bulb or cut one of the two wires that go to the pins for it. It's easy as pie, considering the circuits are obvious by looking at the underside of the PCB.

          Buy a Check panel without the SRS light for $10-15 shipped off eBay would make a pretty clean looking check panel.

              Would you look at that. eBay the SRS check panel. Maybe you'd make an extra penny or two for the fact that there arent a lot of those on there.

              Most I see are non airbag check panels.
