I was curious if anyone can recommend any good shops on the East Coast that I can get my cylinder head ported and polished.

There is a shop here in chattanooga I've gotten my machine work done at, they don't specilize in BMW's but will work on them. When I was last there they quoted me $250 for porting the head no polish.85 325e 2.7 ITB'd stroker

There's only one local shop that I know of that does cylinder head shaping or polishing. Kauffman Motorsports. As far as I know these guys are Honda/Acura specific. Any others?Comment
