Not having any luck installing brake light switch.Original brake light switch is NLA.So we have to use switch from the e36.Anyone can shed some light on how to install the e36 switch?(on the right)

Try Pelican Parts. They should have one.
I can't understand how it would be NLA from BMW as this is a common failing part.
It's been a few years since I bought one, but it was in stock at my local BMW dealer.
What kind of problem are you having trying to install it?

It seems that the plunger is hitting the brake pedal arm before the assembly is properly seated.I got the part # from realoem.com.Comment

Did you get it resolved?
I think on the older E30's, you could bend the mounting tab for the switch to "adjust" it.sigpic
