Help: Engine revs when I press the clutch

I just got my car back from the body shop and its been idling really weird since. Sometimes it will idle at 3k rpms and then drop to 2k and then back up to 3k. But the worst is when I press the clutch in the engine revs so it sounds like I suck at driving stick now.

Sounds like a sticky ICV and/or an intake leak.
The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.

Sounds like a vacuum leak past the throttle body. Do the brakes feel fine?

I had to come to quick stop today and they felt a little odd... Should I try cleaning the ICV?

Its hard to describe.. it just doesnt brake that hard.

When I turn on the car it idles fine, its not until when I start moving and go up to a stop light it starts acting up. As soon as I put it in neutral it starts revving. And then it will also rev when I'm driving down the road. The car keeps a constant speed without my input for a good 10 seconds before the rpms go down.

I have the same problem. Can anyone further explain cleaning the icv or what is entailed in replacing it? I have the L shaped kind. I tried spraying wd40 around it to see if there was a vacuum leak, but it had no effect. Plus, wouldn't it then be more consistent with the iradic idle?

I took the car to the shop a week ago, they replaced the TPS and some vacuum hoses. Last night the car slowly began revving to 2k rpms then to 3k and now sometimes it gets stuck at 3k. Now the brakes feel really weird, I dont know how to describe it, the pedal makes like a squeeking noise and it feels like its rubbing on something.

it accelerates on it's own or keeps speed on its own = > big leak

you might have a problem with the throttle body; such as something got sucked in and is jamming the throttle blade.. open it up and check it; it will work it's way into the engine; that can get expensive.
