Drain hose Q

The hose behind the drivers side front speaker, where does it attach too?

Is it the sunroof drain? Let me guess this is going to require removal of the headliner.

I found the reason my carpet has been soaked is not from a leaking heater hose but from the hose exiting about an inch short of where it should and it has caused a bit of cancer in my interior.

Yep, that's a sunroof drain. If the cause is that the hose is too short, extend it so that the end is outside of the car. Beats having to remove the headliner.

So just cut the hose and use a use like a heater hose coupler and add some more hose

And I was getting to the point where I was like What the Fruck is going on, why is carpet wet?
