    Stomp tests revealed 1262 and...

    My car runs just fine. If my ICV was effed, would I have a nasty Idle? I just finished up a bunch of maintenance, so the car is running better than previously but now has the CEL...

    Any help would be great, as I am trying to sell the dam thing...

      1262 = There is a break or short circuit in the wiring to the idle actuator or the wire from the DME is defective or the output stage in the of the DME is damaged. This code will also be stored if the engine stalls at over 600 rpm.

          So...

          1 Check fuses
          2 Check wires to ICV
          3 I think the car did stall @ over 600, because I am an idiot
          4 HOW DO I RESET?

              Easiest way. Just pull your battery cable over night. It'll completely reset. What I do........
